Though there are many, here is an especially nice video on YouTube explaining the CPSIA. Some things have changed since this video was made, but overall it is still accurate. Remember to subscribe to our blog and consider making a donation today to help spread the word!

As with most productions, the start up (pre-production) is usually slow paced compared to the production and post-production. That said, we’re happy to report the momentum is building. The blog has steady traffic now and we have commitments from some key players in the CPSIA-affected community to help out the production. This assistance will come in the form of interviews, spreading the word and even donations to help pay for the documentary. We know that many businesses have been hurt by the law (and the vague and slow-to-come rulings of the CPSC), but we need your help to tell your stories. We need you to tell us how the CPSIA has affected you, your business and your family. And we need to spread the word! Tell your friends to visit and tell us their stories as well. Every point of view, every experience, every story matters. The more we get the better the finished documentary will be. So please, before clicking off this blog, do three things.
- Tell us your story by clicking on the volunteer tab at the top of this page and commenting about how the CPSIA has impacted you.
- Consider helping out in other ways (listed on the volunteer page). You can offer us assistance, give us an idea or even donate what you can afford. $25.00 can go a long way to getting us to an interview in Washington D.C.
- Tell others about the site! The more individuals we have helping and subscribing to the blog the better.
And remember, if you donate by this Friday (October 30, 2009) you may win a prize.

We are excited to announce Funding Fridays.
Beginning today, and continuing every Friday to the end of November, we will have a prize to be awarded to one randomly selected donor from that week. Please read all contest rules before entering. Including the part about no donation necessary. That’s right, you don’t have to donate… but we still hope you will.
This week’s prize:
For every person who donates $5.00 or more toward the production of The CPSIA Documentary before midnight (ET) next Friday (October 30, 2009) there will be a chance to win:
A box of Hankettes Organic Cotton Handkerchiefs courtesy of KidBean.com. (retail value $44.99 + shipping)
To get you through Flu season and help wipe away the tears shed every time you read a new ruling on the details of the CPSIA, nothing will beat the soft and pure comfort of Hankettes Organic Cotton Handkerchiefs! Plus, you’ll be comforted to know that your donation went toward an effort to spread the word about the effects the CPSIA is having on businesses and families across the nation. It’s a Win-Win… even if you don’t win. So give what you can today by clicking on the DONATE link and be in the running for a FREE GIFT!
